Portfolio - Under the Highway

The Blackstone River running from Worcester, Massachusetts to Providence, Rhode Island gave birth to the industrial revolution in the United States. Over the years, though, it went from being "the hardest working river in American" to the most polluted river in America. These images, taken in 2014 - 2016, are from a two mile stretch of the River in Millbury and Worcester, Massachusetts. A big path runs along the course of the River and under the highway. It's still an urban park with it's own tensions.
